Ultrasound scans require movement of the transducer on the patient’s skin. For ensuring a fine image, sonographer, conducting the test, requires a frictionless surface. Ultrasound Gel comes very handy as it acts as a perfect and suitable lubricant that allows easy movement of the transducer across the skin.

It is widely used these days and getting popular across the world as it is safe and non-toxic for both the sonographer and patient.

Doctors and medical professionals prefer using Ultrasound Gel because it is clear, thick and it stick to the skin quite easily. Apart from being applied on belly of pregnant mothers, Ultrasound Gel is commonly used on diagnosis of tumors, on metastasis of cancer cells and to see images of hollow organs inside the body.
